Hi all, happy March!
So just when I felt like I was getting on a good blog routine…our prayers were answered as we found a house in Franklin, TN.
Those who know me, know I’m kind of a real estate junkie. I LOVE looking at homes and property – it’s truly a hobby of mine. We have been looking to buy land in the south Nashville area for YEARS!
We did not buy land – but we did find a house with a great yard, more space, and it’s much closer to my parents – it’s also in Franklin which is exactly where we wanted to be.
I have been completely MIA because with a three month old and a two year old, prepping our current house to sell, showing our house, AND keeping up with our jobs – life has been crazy. In the midst of all of the moving fun, life goes on…we just got home from a long weekend in Indiana celebrating family birthdays, we will be moving in with my parents for a week before moving into our new house, AND we are still taking our spring break trip to Destin, FL…all before our move-in at the end of March.
Too blessed to be stressed for sure. We are so excited for a change. There are so many sad feelings that come along with moving. When Nick and I moved from Wisconsin to Tennessee, I was an absolute mess but life-changes generate so much personal growth and excitement to life.
More updates and perhaps new-home DIY projects to come…
PS even though I will no longer be living in Nashville (Franklin is technically about 20 minutes south of Nashville), my blog name will stay the same.
