Since becoming a mom, my make up routine has definitely changed. In the last few weeks, I have been really into trying new products that I have found to be game-changers!
My sister is my beauty guru – she recommended some of these products and while I usually don’t like spending too much $ on beauty products, I decided to give some of them a try. Im easily influenced when it comes to trying new products – which is why I like to buy cheap. I am constantly trying something new and forgetting about the SIX other mascaras or lip sticks that I already have.
So after a few weeks of using these products here are a few that I LOVE!
No time for a shower? No time for sleep? No problem…
- under eye concealer (3) – so I’m hitting the big 3-0 this year and yea…I’ve definitely reach that time in my life that I NEED under eye concealer. I have been trying out a few different recommended under eye concealers.
- Tarte Shape Tape – light sand (over $20, wearing in the selfie above)
- it Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye – medium tan (over $20)
- Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – light #10 (under $10)
2. Nirvana White Dry Shampoo – I can’t stand the cheaper dry shampoos that I’ve been buying and trying. I had to pay a little extra for better quality…BAM – smells amazing and is definitely worth the money. The thing I like most about this dry shampoo is it doesn’t leave that grimy feeling that most dry shampoos do. It does, however, give me a little added volume on top – which I love!
3. Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish– with two kids- its super hard to find time to go get nails done (and too pricey for me) – OR even paint your nails YOURSELF for that matter. I decided to splurge a little and try a few drugstore gel polish sets. LOVVEE this nail polish. They have great colors, it looks great and has pretty decent staying power…even for me – who as a mom & preschool teacher – does a LOT of crafting and hand washing.
I hope all the new moms, moms of many, dog moms, grandmas, etc. etc. etc. treat themselves this weekend!
